WIFTA members Chehala Leonard of Chehala Rose Productions Ltd, and Susan Feddema-Leonard of People & Peaks Productions meet with Hon. Heather Klimchuck and Bill Evans, Executive Director of AMPIA after the Alberta Film & Television Rosie Awards. Susan was the Producer for the film Women of Willmore Wilderness that was nominated for Best Documentary Over 30 Minutes, while WIFTA member Laura Vinson and her husband Dave Martineau were nominated Best Original Musical Score (non-fiction over 30 min) for the same production. Congratulations goes out to Producer Connie Edwards for her documentary, Survival of the Fabulous for the Best Documentary over 30 minutes, and to Michael Shields of Prairie Dog Film + Television for the Best Original Musical Score (non-fiction over 30 min).
