Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace, in the Arts and on Screen

WIFTA celebrates International Women’s Day with an evening of live music, networking and this hot-topic discussion on diversity on set and on screen.

Panel Discussion Speakers include:
Amorena Bartlett, an ASL sessional instructor at MacEwan University and advocate for Deaf rights within the criminal justice system.

Christine Sokaymoh Frederick
Artistic director of Alberta Aboriginal Performing Arts and Executive Director of the Dreamspeakers Film Festival.

Elise Graham
Production Supervisor at Mosaic Entertainment with over 13 years of experience in film and tv and advocate in the LGBTQ community.

Nisreen Baker
Writer, producer and director of multilingual documentaries and feature film productions in North America and the Middle East.

Our event will be taking place at the ATB Branch for Arts and Culture (9804 Jasper Ave, Edmonton) from 4:00pm - 7:00pm on Thursday, March 7th. All current and prospective members, industry professionals and friends are welcome to attend.
