I am excited to announce that CEA:� The short dance film that I
produced
with Andrea Pass last summer is playing in the Calgary
International Film Festival at 6:30pm on Sept 24th and 7pm on Oct. 1st
at the Uptown Stage and
Screen and is also up for the Alberta Centennial
Award.
Come check out CEA and while you're at it
don't miss the chance to
catch some other films at
the festival as well.

Hello All,
A new short film, "Wake of a War Bride" directed by NUTV Chair Colleen
Sharpe, edited by Richie Walker featuring
music by Christiaan Venter
will be playing at the
Calgary Film Festival on September 25th at 4pm,
at the Eau Claire Market
Cinema.
"Wake of a War Bride" is a documentary about the passion of
artist
Bev Tosh to paint many
"War Brides" and share their stories.
NUTV member Amy Darling
produced "The Artistic Taxidermist" (which is
also up for an Alberta
Centennial Award) playing 6:30pm on Sept 24th
and 7pm on Oct. 1st at
the Uptown Stage and Screen.
In "The Artistic Taxidermist", Sandi Somers tells the story of
an
idiosyncratic
taxidermist's drive to introduce creativity to his
craft. After seeing Da Vinci's Mona Lisa for the first time, the
taxidermist and
his wife decide to stretch the limits of his bizarre
line of work.
