International Women�s Day 2006 Short Film Showcase

Please join Women in Film and Television-Alberta (WIFT-A) on Wednesday March 8, 2006 for a special evening of short films created by acclaimed filmmakers from Australia, Canada, the UK and USA.

The Canadian selection of the Short Film Showcase was written and directed by Alberta�s Eva Colmers.  Her film Hand Sum was also short-listed as
Best Alberta Production by the 2005 Calgary International Film Festival.

In Edmonton, the Film Showcase will be held at
the Shaw Theatre on NAIT Campus (Princess Elizabeth Avenue & 106 Street), 7pm.  Special guest speaker is Ms. Lori-Ann Muenzer, 2004 Olympic Gold Medalist, and Eva Colmers.  Click here to RSVP for Edmonton.

In Calgary, join us at the Jenkins Theatre, Mount Royal College Campus Room l 115 (4825 Richard Road SW), 7pm.  Special guest speaker for the evening will be Ms. Catherine Ford, Catherine is a former columnist with the Calgary Herald and recent author of 'Against the Grain'.
